GUIDE FOR STUDENTS: Buy/Receive courses

1. Receive free courses

Free courses are often insignificant courses with the target of giving your potential customers a short-term experience of your teaching or offering to your current students as a gift.

What students will see

Students only need to click the Receive this course button. Afterward, the course will be saved to the students’ My Courses category.

The administrator can set a free course in the Publish section of that course

2. Buy courses

Non-free courses will be the main source of revenue for your company.

What students will see

The administrator can set the price for the course following this guide:

The administrator also needs to set up payment methods so that students can pay for the courses:

3. Activation Code

Activation Code is often used in the case the course is a gift to students who enroll on your main courses, or as an extra course for the current students.

4. Affiliate

Affiliate is a marketing strategy for your courses. Your current or former students will receive their own Affiliate Link for that course and will earn commissions if new students use that Affiliate Link to buy the course. New students who use Affiliate Link will also be entitled to a discount.

The administrator can learn to set up the Affiliate feature following this guide:

5. Direct Course Registration for a certain student

The administrator can register a course for any of the students' accounts. This feature is usually used when the students buy the course via an external payment method, which means not via any of the provided methods on the website. The administrator will then register that course on behalf of the student.
