# Kiến thức về tên miền

### **1. Tên miền là gì?**

Nếu ví website hay trường học trực tuyến trên Hoola như một ngôi nhà, thì tên miền chính là địa chỉ để học viên và khách hàng tìm đến.

Tên miền là một đường dẫn duy nhất trên Internet, ví dụ: [**www.tenmienrieng.com**](https://www.google.com/url?sa=E\&q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tenmienrieng.com). Khi người dùng truy cập vào tên miền này, họ sẽ được chuyển hướng đến trang web được xây dựng trên nền tảng Hoola.

Tương tự như địa chỉ nhà, tên miền cần được mua và đăng ký sở hữu từ các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ. Mỗi tên miền là độc nhất, nếu đã có người khác sở hữu thì không thể đăng ký lại.

### **2. Kết nối tên miền về Hoola**

Sau khi sở hữu tên miền, bước tiếp theo là thực hiện thao tác "trỏ tên miền" về nền tảng của Hoola. Việc này cho phép tên miền riêng hiển thị nội dung của trường học/website đã được tạo trên Hoola.

### **3. Phân biệt Tên miền chính, Tên miền phụ và Thư mục con**

* **Tên miền chính (Root domain):** Là địa chỉ gốc đã được đăng ký. Một tên miền chính thường được gắn với một website.
  * Ví dụ: tenmiencuaban.com
* **Tên miền phụ (Subdomain):** Là phần mở rộng đứng trước tên miền chính, được phân cách bằng dấu chấm.
  * Ví dụ: khoahoc.tenmiencuaban.com
  * Tên miền phụ có thể được tạo miễn phí trong tài khoản quản trị tên miền và có thể hoạt động độc lập, trỏ về một trang web/nền tảng khác với trang đang dùng tên miền chính.
* **Thư mục con (Subdirectory):** Là một đường dẫn nằm sau tên miền chính hoặc tên miền phụ, dùng để phân loại nội dung trên cùng một website.
  * Ví dụ: tenmiencuaban.com/blog hoặc khoahoc.tenmiencuaban.com/marketing
